Ready Wedding Invitation Wording You Can Copy

Pro Gallery Team·September 28, 2026

The line that stops most people is the first one. Below is a set of ready wedding invitation phrases you can copy and change only the names and dates in, grouped by who is hosting and who is being invited. At the end there is a single rule that makes any ready phrase feel written for one person.

Formal wording

  • Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Harbi is honoured to invite you to the wedding celebration of his son Faisal.
  • With great pride we invite you to share our happiest evening. Your presence is what completes it.
  • The Al Harbi family is pleased to invite you to the wedding of their son Faisal, with our sincere appreciation.

Short wording

  • Your presence is a joy. We will be waiting for you.
  • Our happiness is not complete without you.
  • Join us as we begin our life together.

For a brother or a close friend

  • It would mean a lot to have you at my brother Faisal's wedding.
  • My brother is getting married, and I cannot picture the night without you there.

For a family-only wedding

  • A private invitation to you and your family for a small family gathering with limited numbers.
  • A simple family occasion we would love you to be part of. The invitation is for you and those with you.

Four wording mistakes

  1. A long phrase that fills half the card and pushes the time and venue to the bottom.
  2. Mixing singular and plural voice in the same line, starting with I and finishing with we.
  3. A phrase copied from a well known invitation that half your guests will recognise.
  4. Forgetting to name the host, so the guest arrives unsure who to congratulate.

The rule that changes everything

A ready phrase feels generic because it speaks to everyone in the same words. The fix is not a prettier phrase, it is putting the guest's own name on the card. One line addressed to him personally changes how the whole invitation feels.

That is what Pro Gallery invitations do automatically. You write the wording once, upload your guest list, and every guest receives a card carrying his own name with an accept or decline button. And because the control stays with you, you can change the wording, the typeface and the colours whenever you want, even after sending.

If you are arranging the information inside the card, the correct order is explained in the wedding invitation design guide, and the men's card templates are in our men's wedding invitation article.
